The New Holstein Police Department has been able to upgrade its equipment with several pieces of very recent technology through the application of grants.  Below are a few items the Police Department utilizes to be more effective in providing its services to the community.  These two lap top computers are used  for training with the use of the LCD projector and for processing technical data obtained from video/audio surveillance equipment as well as digital cameras and camcorders.   The Department realizes the impact technology has had on the community.  In order for law enforcement to keep pace we strive to maintain a high level preparedness by training and utilizing the current technology . The grant application process has benefited the Police Department and the community we serve, with a very limited impact on a very tight budget.  The Department prides itself on the training the officers receives and tools they have to provide effective policing.
